Don't confuse ETL with Data Migration

Just caught Johny Morris's blog in which he neatly differentiates ETL (Extract Transform Load) from Data Migration. His thesis was that ETL is a regular periodic copying of data from one environment to another, and does not therefore require any process around removing the source version of the data or decommissioning.
